About Us
Well, this isnt your average "how we got here" story....

Years ago, when my husband and I were dating, he lived here in his family's "home place" with his grandparents. After their passing, ~we miss you two every day, Mr & Mrs Tilley~  the place was left to him.  Well, 2 kids later, we got to thinking about how we could do something with all this yard, the field in the back and the field across the street.

I was always roaming around going through the outbuilding looking for cool stuff to plant flowers in, Then it hit us... we could take one of the old buildings out back that Mr. Tilley had built years ago and turn it into a barn. Thats when it happened... almost like it was planned...One Sunday afternoon, Mr. Warren called and asked if my son could have a goat. WTH?  Of course my son wanted a goat... what 6 year old boy wouldnt want a goat? So, Lily was brought to us later that day... and thats how this ALL got started. Then, my hubbs and son thought Lily was depressed and lonely, so off to the sale we went... looking for a friend for Lily.  We came home with 2, then 2 more the next week... etc...

Well, I thought pygmy goats were boring and I had another part of the barn scoped out for something else.... I wanted a rabbit. Not just A rabbit, but lots of rabbits. At that time, there was already a homemade rabbit hutch built in there, it even had the name of the bunny painted on it that my husband had as a child. But, it was only 2 holes and I couldnt reach over into it very well. So, off I went, looking for 2 perfect starter rabbits. Not just any 2, but the perfect 2 for babies... lots of babies. Didnt take long at all for those babies to show up.  After he realized how much I enjoyed it and that our kids were actually WANTING to spend time with us out there.. he ordered me some custom made hanging cages with lots of more holes. The only thing we kept was the piece of wood with "bonnie bunny" painted on it from his childhood days.

So, here we are, with a bunch of bunnies, goats, dogs and plenty of kids wanting to see the "petting zoo".
